Ann & Guy - Mt Rosa Big Kahunas

Ann & Guy are still at the vineyard & Cellar Door each day. Guy you'll find either in the tasting room spinning yarns, or doing laps of the vineyard in his tractor. Ann will be in the office or creating some delicious platters to complement the wines.

Mt Rosa Pinot Gris

Creamy nectarine and white flower aromas combined with a subtle candied almond palate beg the drinker to take another sip. Off-dry in style, this Pinot Gris has a lovely sweetness on the palate balanced by a fresh acidity which makes it a great accompaniment to a variety of dishes.

Originally the ram paddock for the 80,000 hectare Kawarau Station, in 2000 we sent the sheep off to greener pastures, planted some vines and began our new story in wine.

Now a well established vineyard, Mt Rosa is still proudly family owned and operated, and produces award-winning wines for everyone to enjoy.

Come and enjoy a tasting, a glass or a bottle. Spend an hour or stay with us for the afternoon. With locally sourced food options available, you won’t want to leave. We have indoor and outdoor seating with views towards the bluff and of our surrounding vines that you can walk through and see how your glass of wine began its journey as a humble grape.

Tastings $25 for at least five of our estate grown wines including our cellar aged Pinot Noir.
Reservations are highly recommended and essential for larger groups.
