The Queenstown Pedallers, are Queenstown's most active and social cycling club. Meeting up several times a week to drink coffee, have a yarn and ride their bikes. Active supporters of the Queenstown Trails Trust and we'd hedge a bet at most active user base of the trails, they have some great stories to tell and we like to share them here on the Queenstown Trails Blog.

(MTB Ride – Hugh Mc’s notes)
13 riders gathered on a cool moist morning at the garage in Arrowtown. The Long riders Steve, Mark and Ross did the loop down the river track, Morven Ferry Rd, Thompson’s Hill and MacDonald’s Hill, then Coronary Hill, Slope Hill and Christine’s Hill back to coffee.
The remainder rode up Cemetery Hill, down the river track (weather was much improved by now!), Thompson’s Hill up through Bridesdale and Lake Hayes Estate, around the high side of the lake and then by various routes - Christine’s Hill / McEntyres Hill / Hogans Gully and the river track (Nigel and Pam?), back to tea and scones with enlightened conversation at Postmasters.
The tracks were in good condition but riders need to watch for slippery leaves down the river trail!
